Ralph W. Kalish, Jr., Board President
Ralph W. Kalish, Jr. is a senior partner in the Intellectual Property Group of Husch Blackwell Sanders, LLP (“HBS”). He has been practicing law for nearly 30 years. He started as a staff attorney with McDonnell Douglas Corporation in 1979 and has worked in private practice since 1984.
Mr. Kalish has represented domestic and international companies in all aspects of copyright and trademark law, with experience in more than 100 countries. He is experienced in resolving disputes as an advocate and a mediator. He is a member of the International Trademark Association Panel of Neutrals and U.S. Arbitration and Mediation – Midwest. Mr. Kalish received his JD and MBA from St. Louis University in 1979 and his CPA in 1980. He previously served in management positions with his law firm, which has approximately 670 attorneys, including roughly 90 IP attorneys, covering all technologies, transactions and litigation, in 14 U.S. cities in six states plus the District of Columbia and London.
Mr. Kalish has served on the CID board of directors since 2002. He recently completed a term as chair of the development committee and serves on all board committees.
Mr. Kalish is the great grand nephew of CID's founder, Max Goldstein, MD.
