Mother kissing her young son on the head

Since 1914, CID has provided language intervention for young children based on extensive language development research. Highly trained professionals and small teacher to student ratios, integral to the CID learning philosophy, are also important to promoting language growth in children with langauge delays.

Small Talkers

Small Talkers is CID's 6-week summer early intervention program for children with mild to moderate speech and language delays. This program is for typically developing children with normal hearing ages 2-1/2 to 5 with specific weaknesses in speech-language development. Classes tailor instruction to meet each child's needs while fostering social language and emerging literacy in a dynamic print- and language-rich environment. This program is led by a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Small Talkers classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on June 15 and ending on July 22, 2010.
