DAVIDSON AND TYE-MURRAY WILL GIVE
FEATURED SPEECHES AT NATIONAL ARA CONFERENCE IN ST. LOUIS
 

ST. LOUIS, Missouri — At the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology (ARA) annual Institute in October, two leaders in pediatric audiology from St. Louis will be featured: Nancy Tye-Murray, PhD, research professor of audiology, and Lisa Davidson, PhD, assistant professor of audiology at Washington University School of Medicine, will speak. Davidson is coordinator of pediatric audiology at Central Institute for the Deaf (CID) in St. Louis.

Tye-Murray will give the keynote address, entitled "Audiovisual speech perception: From consonant to discourse." Davidson's featured speech is entitled "Technology advances with hearing aids and cochlear implants in children."

The conference will take place at the Parkway Hotel in St. Louis, October 18-20, 2007.

The primary purpose of ARA is to promote excellence in hearing care through the provision of comprehensive rehabilitative and habilitative services.
