Graduate Education
Program in
Audiology and Communication Sciences
(PACS) The Program in Audiology and Communication Sciences (PACS) offers advanced graduate training in clinical audiology, deaf education and speech and hearing sciences. As a CID at Washington University School of Medicine program, PACS is a CID affiliate that is solely owned and operated by the University. PACS offers three degree programs: • Doctor of Audiology (AuD) • Master of Science in Deaf Education (MSDE) • Speech and Hearing Sciences Research (PhD) A limited number of full tuition scholarships are typically available to students who enroll in the PACS master’s program in deaf education (MSDE). Partial tuition scholarships are available to qualified students who enroll in the AuD program. Highly qualified practicing professionals from the Washington University School of Medicine, Central Institute for the Deaf and elsewhere make up the PACS faculty. Graduate students benefit from the on-campus location of a hearing clinic and deafness research laboratories as well as CID’s world-renowned auditory-oral school where deaf children learn to listen, talk, read and succeed in the mainstream. For information and application materials, please visit the PACS web site or contact Beth Elliott, MAT, graduate education program coordinator, at elliottb@wustl.edu or 314.747.0104. deaf education workshops |
