CID Summer Programs

Extended School Year

Mondays-Thursdays mid-June to mid-July

Once again this year, our five-week extended school year is open to CID students and other children ages 3-12 who are deaf and hard of hearing. The program is taught by our experienced CID teachers and features morning speech, language and academic instruction for all students and engaging afternoon field trips to great places in St. Louis for the primary students. The day is filled with lots of listening, language and learning opportunities.

Limited enrollment is available for students who qualify. Please direct questions to Andrea Osman 314.977.0135.

Summer Enrichment Program

CID’s summer enrichment program is open to CID graduates and general education students between the ages of 6 and 12 who are deaf or hard of hearing. The summer enrichment program is a way for students to reconnect to CID, reconnect with old friends, make new friends and enhance their communication skills. In summer of 2015, the group explored fiber arts and put on a play, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
